The KONG ULTIMATE SAFETY TETHER uses the LATCH/ISOFIX/CanFix 3 point anchor system,
which is designed for securing infant seats. There are two anchors at the base of the seat and one on the rear. These anchor points have been required in all new cars in the USA since 2002 and the EU since 2006.
Using them gives this product immense strength, and helps to keep your dog in a
seat central position to minimize side to side movement and reduce the risk of
your dog being thrust into the foot well under braking.
